The privileged location of Sitges allows its town to enjoy mild winters, with a few rainy days but not many, and with temperatures around 15ºC. Spring and Autumn are seasons of sun, and the temperatures are usually around 20ºC. They are the rainiest seasons while the summer is hot with temperatures of about 30ºC, with the exception of maybe a few days when the thermometers go even higher.

The latter are quieter and more relaxed whereas the city beaches offer all types of beach activities and services, such as boat rental, sport activities, chair rental, life guards, public toilets etc. The water and sand are of high quality and significantly superior than the beaches in Barcelona. Sitges's Passeig Marítim is a great promenade with numerous restaurants and bars: daytime beach action is concentrated around this area, so be prepared as there is something here for everyone!
