Description

History
A historic building
“Pairal” means “the beginning of something”. This property has been the beginning, the first estate, of the urbanization, functioning as a landlords house years ago. Nowadays MasiaPairal is a beautiful luxurious holiday venue situated in a calm and green area.
The oldest part of this authentic landhouse (“Can” or “Masia” in Catalan) dates from the 17th century. Part of the decoration pieces and furniture belong to real antiquities, collected by the owners. During the years the original elements have been conserved and enriched with modern touches. The garden has been well taken care of during years, which nowadays is a stunning area to relax.
When entering the masia through its massive wooden door, you will find yourself entering in a property with history. The high ceilings, fireplace, original Catalan kitchen and characteristic decoration make it magical.
The property has views on the mountains of natural park El Garraf. On a 1 min. walk you will be surrounded by vineyards and Mediterranean nature.

The villa is located in a high-end residential area. The more than 4.000 m² of private grounds offer privacy to all guests, away from the day to day life. The pool area features a big grass area perfect for soccer and other games. There are sunbeds, umbrellas and a lounge area. The long table for up to 24 guests is ideal for breakfast and dining as it is located next to the barbecue area and kitchen. With view on the pool and garden the dining zone is perfect for the summer nights.
The other side of the property has another grass area with a fountain in the middle. This area is the view of the common terrace, that perfect for the sun set watching.
Entering from the parking into the property you will find a peaceful patio, separating the 6 bedrooms from the main house from the other 4 bedrooms in the wing. The rooms have direct access to the patio via the little terrace with seats.

The villa has two parts, the main villa and the wing. Entering the main building you will find the dining area with access to the living and kitchen. The dining area has a long table and welcome desk where tourist information and a telephone is provided. There is access to the guest room with toilet from here, as well as to the romantic patio with lounges.
The living room features a lounge with two big comfortable seats and low table. The book shelves are full of picture books, English and Spanish novels, and books for kids. There is also DVDs for kids and adults, as well as an iPod Dock. The plasma television has satellite and local channels and is provided with an All Surround Sound System. The enormous L-shaped sofa hosts all guests, enjoying a movie or the fireplace. From the living room you can access the perfect terrace for sunset watching, with view over the grass field and fountain.
From the dining room you enter the kitchen, fully equipped with:

The kitchen gives access to the barbecue area, with sitting area for 8 guests. From there you will access the garden with long dining table for up to 24 guests. From the barbecue area you can access the cleaning area, provided with First Aid Kid, iron and iron board, vacuum cleaner and cleaning products. Via the kitchen, passing the storage room, you enter the “Pinos” bedroom.
Going up the stairs, you will find 5 bedrooms and 2 shared bathrooms on the first floor. There is a balcony of 40 m² with seats and tables, overlooking the grass and pool area, with mountain view. The Wing of the villa features 3 bedrooms, and a Cottage, all with access to the patio.
The pool of 22 x 7m has several umbrellas, sunbeds and lounge areas. For kids, and adults, there is several pool and outdoor games. From the pool area there is access to the laundry area, provided with drying racks and detergent, with toilet. Next door there is a sauna with shower.
The property has central heating. Upon arrival the guest will be welcomed with a seasonal fruit basket.
The rooms
All bathrooms are provided with soap, hairdryer, toilet paper. All bedrooms have mosquito nets, AC and own lock with key. The beds come per person with 2 pillows, 1 duvet, its bedlinen,3 towels and 1 pool towel.

Cipresos I: King size bed (could be divided into 2 single beds), shared bathroom with Cipresos II with shower and toilet, access to patio with 2 seats and table.
Cipresos II: Two single beds, shared bathroom with Cipresos I, access to patio with 2 seats and table Via Cipresos I you will enter Cipresos II to get to the bathroom. Both rooms have private access door with lock to the patio.
Bedroom 10 “Cottage” – Ground Floor, Wing
Queen size bed, ensuite bathroom with shower and toilet, lounge with kitchenette, access to patio.

Masia Pairal is located only 5 min. away from the beach, situated in natural park El Garraf, surrounded by the vineyards of wine region El Penedès. Masia Pairal offers a variety of indoor and outdoor activities and nearby attractions.

Get to know the wines stored in the next door wine cellar Torre del Veguer and Finca Viladellops. Also further into the region there is heaps of local wine and cava producers. Visit the numerous cellars in the Penedès for tastings and routes through the origins of wines and cavas like Torre del Veguer, Finca Viladellops, Freixenet, Cordoniu, Viña Torres. Masia Pairal is located in high-end residential area of Los Viñedos, part of the village Sant Pere de Ribes. It’s surrounded by vineyards, sea and mountain, ideal for tracking and mountain biking. The metropolitan Barcelona is just a 40 min. ride away The coast villages Sitges and Vilanova I la Geltrú are a small ride of a 5 min. drive and offer soft sandy beaches.
30 min. from Barcelona’s International Airport (El Prat)
45 min. from Airport Reus
80 min. from Airport Girona
From the property you can walk (5 min. to the bus station). The bus goes every 20 min. in 5 min. to Sitges.
The bus to Barcelona goes every 30 min. and takes 30 min. to the Airport and 45 min. to the city center.
By car from Barcelona to Tarragona:
• From the C32, take the exit 28, Sant Pere de Ribes
• Follow Sant Pere de Ribes
• After the small bridge, take the first left “Los Viñedos”
• After the small bridge, take the first right, street C/Algarobos
• Turn first left, street C/Pinos
• For 400m keep turning left until you see MasiaPairal with a big electric gate, spacious parking and a wooden entrance door

Extra beds and baby cots could be placed, please inform for the additional quote.
Upon booking a 30% non-refundable deposit is required to guarantee your reservation. The remaining 70% has to be done six weeks before arrival. Payments should be done via bank transfer or in cash. No credit cards accepted.
On arrival we ask for a refundable deposit in case of damages of 1,000 EUR, to be paid in cash or by bank transfer. The amount of damage deposit might vary according to the length and purpose of stay. Upon check-out the deposit will be refunded by cash, or within 48 hours it will be transferred to your account.
Change-over day is Saturday. Please inform for short stay, long-term stays, small groups, and other change-over days.
